How to check your jamb admission statues

This is to inform prospective candidates and the general public that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) admission status checking portal for the 2016/2017 has been enabled.
All the applicants – UTME and Direct Entry – who applied for admission into their school of choice, and participated in the Post UTME Screening exercise are hereby urged to check their admission status on JAMB portal.

Here is how to Check Admission Status on JAMB Portal.

    Go to http://www.jamb.org.ng/efacility/ to create an account.
    Login to the e-facility portal after creating an account.
    Click on “Check Admission Status” tab.
    Select your ‘Exam Year’ and also supply your ‘JAMB Registration’ number in the appropriate column.
    Finally, “Check Admission Status” to access your admission details.

JAMB Registrar Explains delay in sale of 2017 UTME forms

The Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, said the delay was due to issues the board had with sale of scratch cards. He said candidates used to buy scratch cards to access the forms online and that it had been abused thoroughly. “What we wantnt coffers and we are working out the process of doing so to avoid the type of abuse that it has been subjected to,” he told Daily Trust. “So, we want to sell directly and to make sure that candidates pay into TSA account.
